A swimming pool requires attention and maintenance.  In order for you to be able to enjoy your swimming pool for many years, you just need to do some regular cleaning and proper maintenance.  By following simple swimming pool cleaning tips, you will be able to maintain a great and beautiful sparkling pool. 

Daily Pool Care:

1. Operate your pool system a minimum of 6-8 hours each day.  (The best time to run the filter is during the day-light hours).
2. Empty and clean your skimmer basket.
3. Check to see that the water level of your pool is at the mid-skimmer line.
4. Check the filter to make sure the unit is running at the recommended pressure.
5. If you use a pool heater, make sure it turns off at least 20 minutes before the filter system turns off.

Weekly Pool Care:

1. Check the water chemistry for chlorine, ph, alkalinity, and conditioner levels.
2. Balance your pool chemicals as necessary.  (Add chlorine weekly).
3. Skim the pool surface using a pool net.
4. Vacuum the entire pool.
5. Brush down the pool walls using a pool brush.
6. Turn off the filter system and open the pump lid to empty the pump basket.
